Accounting Officer


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure timely execution of general accounting activities, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable/costing and employee reimbursements.

  • Handle data entry, invoicing, up-to-date billing, outstanding payment follow-up, and resolution of invoicing issues.

  • Ensure invoices are properly authorized by relevant department managers and matched with purchase orders where applicable.

  • Accurately record invoices in the SAP system using correct account codes and ensure payment entries are properly posted.

  • Respond to all inquiries related to invoices and payments through phone and email while coordinating with relevant departments professionally and efficiently.

  • Provide accounting advice across functions for issue resolution and process improvement.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., Revenue Department) and support internal/external audits by providing necessary documents, data, and responses regarding financial, accounting, and tax matters.

  • Manage withholding tax deductions for domestic and remittance payments (P.N.D. 3, 53, 54, P.P. 30, 36).

  • Responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling the cost of goods and services to support accurate financial reporting and strategic decision-making.

  • To ensure accurate cost allocation, inventory valuation, and cost performance analysis to support operational efficiency and profitability.

  • Perform standard cost updates and review cost changes to ensure alignment with actual business operations.

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience across core functions

  • Strong knowledge of Thai taxation (VAT, WHT, Stamp Duty, Revenue Code)

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office

  • Experience with SAP B1 highly preferred

  • Good at English communication both written and spoken

  • Background in costing and/or hotel industry is an advantage

  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
